'Armed Forces Day' this Saturday at Reid Park
TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Operation Homefront of Arizona will hold its first annual Armed Forces Day Celebration in Tucson on Saturday, May 21.
The event will be held at the bandshell at Reid Park, located at 1100 South Randolph Way, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday.
Armed Forces Day is designed to raise awareness of those who fight for our freedom and to pay respect for their bravery and courage.
Guest speakers from the military will be at the event, as well as the VFW Freedom Riders. People can also see Army military vehicles and K-9 demonstrations.
